The Pirelli World Challenge wrapped up the 2014 season at Miller Motorsports Park with the Utah Grand Prix. Miller is located about a half an hour southwest of Salt Lake City. This is one of the most fantastic tracks that nobody knows about. Perhaps this is because it is not all that old. The GT car racing this day in September of 2014 was great. All the classes were there from TC to GT-A. I can’t wait to go back next year.
McLaren 12C GT3. Getting ready for the track.
Aston Martin Vantage GT4
Bentley Continental GT3
Audi R8 Ultra GT3. This is a popular model for the Pirelli World Challenge
Ferrari 458 Italia GT3
Chevrolet Corvette GTA
Mercedes SLS AMG GT3
Dodge Viper GTA
Lamborghini Gallardo FL2
Kia Optima GTS. Seems strange but these things were fantastic.
A Honda Civic TCA that got into some action with a fellow racer.
Some Porsche only action out on the track.
A TCB class Honda Fit. This one was a winner this day. My son was with me at the race and he has Type 1 Diabetes. Needles to say he was happy to see this car win.
This Honda Fit met the back of the car in front of him on the starting grid when that car stalled.
A little entry-level NASCAR is always welcome, especially when they turn left and right.
